Spinach Paratha

Spinach Paratha | Palak Paratha

I love making Parathas any time of the day. I have tried various recipes. Today I present this simple three ingredients recipe.

Also, Spinach is a superfood and somehow wanted to incorporate it to my LO diet.






Ingredients 
  1. 1 cup chopped spinach leaves 
  2. 2 cups whole wheat flour 
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice 
  4. Salt as per taste
How to make the recipe 
  1. Wash spinach leaves and drain
  2. Finely chop the leaves and add into bowl
  3. Add wheat flour, lemon juice and salt
  4. If you wish to make it spicy. Add spices
  5. Knead together to make a dough
  6. Add little oil and knead to make a soft pliable dough
  7. Set it aside for ten minutes
  8. Make 5 equal sized balls
  9. Sprinkle flour over the ball and begin to roll paratha (thick or thin.. however you like)
  10. Heat a pan on medium flame
  11. Place a paratha over the hot tawa
  12. When you see small bubbles, flip it to the other side and toast it till lightly brown spots appear
  13. Apply oil all over the Paratha while it is on tava, flip and do same to other side
  14. Serve hot paratha with Mango Pickle
